NEWS: HERDSMEN KILLINGS – PASTOR ADEBOYE VISITS BENUE, REVEALS WHAT GOD WILL D .

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the
Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, on Friday visited Benue State and prayed for God’s intervention in the ongoing killings in the State.
The cleric led a cross-section of Benue people to pray for the state, assuring that God would take up the battle and put an end to killings everywhere in Nigeria.
“We will call on God to fight this battle that we cannot fight. I’m here to pray for the state that the helper of the helpless will fight our battle.
“We will ask God to arise and put an end to this bloodshed. Let there be peace in Nigeria as a whole. There will be no more bloodshed in Nigeria,”
he said.
He said that in accordance with the Holy Bible, that
the horse is prepared for the day of battle but safety is of the Lord as he stressed that men can hide from men but no one could hide from God.
According to him, “Men can be corrupted, they can decide to do what is not 100 percent correct with the assistance of others but there is no way you can compromise the holiness of God. He is a Holy God, he created us all. And I know when we call on him to intervene, what is impossible for man is possible for God.”

While condoling with the governor and people of the state over loss of lives, he said his family and the entire church had continued to weep for Benue everyday since the killings began on New Year Day.

“We have felt every pain you have felt. We have wept when we saw you weeping. As a matter of fact, there is no way a man of God will not feel the pain when he sees mass burial anywhere. Some of those people are our children and some are not yet converted, so we suffer double loss. When somebody is dead, you can’t convert that person.
That is why we want these killings to stop. The Almighty God who doesn’t play, pranks or compromise can stop it,” the RCCG overseer posited.

I am Rims Luka and with so much joy in my heart i want to congratulate each and everyone of you who made it to 2018 it wasnt easy at all through the rough times in 2017 but God has been so faithful beyond reasonable doubt. It is not of him that runneth nor of him that willeth but by God who showeth mercy. It is not by power nor by might but by my spirit says the lord. In all this God has been so faithful even when it seems like though there is no hope God stood firmly beside us.Sometimes things felt broken and things at times seems not to be working well for us in 2017 but i tell you one thing God still remains the one and only faithful God. At this juncture i would like to express my profound gratitude to God Almighty for his faithfulness and life to see yet another successful year, my earnest prayer to all of you reading this that my God will never forsake you this year. This shall be a year of abundance and favour also is your portion this year in Jesus name. HAPPY NEW YEAR  enjoy the best of the year with God being your ultimate source.

“I HAVE NEVER EARNED MONEY FROM MY BOOK PROCEEDS” – BISHOP OYEDEPO

In no unclear terms, the presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church clarified the argument on his income/royalty from books he publishes. Till date, Bishop Oyedepo has released over 110 books and over 10 million copies have been sold since 1993 when Dominion Publishing House (DPH) the printing and publishing arm of the ministry was established. According to him, his first two books were released in 1985. Presently, the DPH owns a state of the art printing press with machines imported from Germany and yet the books are among the cheapest sold.
In his words while announcing the new Bibles being published by the Church:
“We are venturing into production of Bibles into all languages across Africa.
Publishing is to us a ministry, not a business.
I have never drawn a dime from my books once-we only feed from the testimonies that come in.
No author from DPH earns a dime from the books in DPH yet it sells round the world.
We sell the cheapest of all Christian literature and we produce among the best.
The Church has never drawn from DPH since inception.
Why are we so blessed? We are doing the right thing.
Is it wrong to get money from books? No, but that’s not my style with Jesus” the Bishop concluded.
