[ Download Music ] Seunrolls – Bigger God

There is always something ‘er’ and more about our God. Have you seen something or someone biggest, our God is bigger than the biggest, someone in the highest level, our God is higher than the highest, something or someone who happens to be the strongest, our God is stronger than the strongest. Or maybe you met the best lover, our God is a better lover, you know the best giver, our God is a better giver. And if you know the wealthiest, our God is wealthier than the wealthiest, the list goes on and on, our God has more to His personality than we can ever fathom.
Bigger God is a song gotten from the place of prayer, although it didn’t make so much sense to me as at that time, but having travelled across nations, meeting people from different tribe, culture, race and experiencing different changes in nature, climate and weather the revelation of this song came to full understanding. It is my prayer that the Bigger God reveals and show Himself bigger to any situation we are faced with.

*Sniper* is not an easy killer, *it’s an organ eating ,liquid monster*
*Sniper is a DDVP 2,2*
Ok…sniper is a  Dichlorovinyl Dimethyl phosphate compound, produced by *ndi Swiss Nigeria Chemical Compound*
When you blindly drink *sniper* that you want to kill yourself, this is what will happen to you….
1. Your eyeballs will swim in its own water as forced tears escapes from its reservoir
2. You will have serious discharges from your nose…oh, it’s late, you will have no control over these happenings now.
3. A banging migraine will set in. You will hold unto your head and scream like it wants to explode..
4. Your chest will tighten, forcing close , making sure that your body have lost control over it.
5. You will be on the floor by now, screaming through all your senses, as saliva pours out from your mouth like a slow, mini river.
6. You will mess yourself up with vomiting, and you will long to vomit your intestines too, to be relieved, cos you are now in so much regrets for taking the sniper, but ah,ah,ah…sniper must finish it’s job.
7. The rest of the crises comes in turns as you shit all over yourself …sweating ,muscle fasciculation, your blood pressure will go down low, convulsions, then, your life will be squeezed out of you through the shutting down of your lungs and kidney….cardiac arrest will aid your departure.
The last thing that will die in you, is your brain that will take in every information before shutting down. It will allow you watch yourself, give up the pained ghost.
That’s why they will meet you  when you are dead, with your eyes open, drooling, a lot of poo in your underwear, your body twisted in a strange position as you tried to fight off the pain and crises, and they will observe the signs of struggle in the room you took the sniper…cos you will climb the walls, tear the sheets, rip some of your hair off, just to quail the killing pain.. some run off from their houses, screaming for people to help them, that they drank sniper, that’s how they ended up in the hospital.
If you are lucky, your system could be flushed when it has not shut down everything, but you will never remain the same, if you are unlucky, you will die on your way to the hospital, or in the hospital…but in your dead eyes, the last memorial record in it, before your terrorized brain, shuts down, is “regrets”.
*You can see, it’s not an easy death*
Should in case you are among those, waiting on queue to snipe yourself out..the dead cannot come back to tell you their experiences with sniper…that 100ml ,200/300 naira *otapiapia*, is a *terminator*.. *a gradually, ruthless, wicked terminator*
You are deceived when they make you believe that sniper is the easier way out, no, it will slowly devour you from the inside, as it shuts down your organs one by one in a tearing order.
It’s only a bullet to your head, measured well, not to miss the brain, that can be the fast killer you anticipated, not sniper.
If you are depressed, drink more of cold juices, while you think your way out. *Suicide is not a joke*.
Sniper will make you *see your ear without mirror,* will force you to beg for your life back, but it will scream back at you from your system, to let it do its job.
*It will give you a slow, dragged, struggled, regrettable death..*
Why don’t you use that strength of fighting a painful death, and fight your way out to live?
You don’t wanna mess with that insecticide called sniper. Trust me..no think am, no take am.

Why Christians care about Every Injustice?

The following is a lightly edited transcript.
Christians care about all injustice, especially injustice against God.
Christians care about all injustice. The word all is intended to prick the conscience of Christians who, because of self-indulgence or fear, have dulled the capacity of their hearts to care about the injustice of the world — all the countless ways that people all over the world are treated by other people worse than they deserve.

“Christians care about all injustice — especially injustice against God.”

I say this is because of self-indulgence, because I think most indifference to injustice among professing Christians is not owing to convictional partiality or convictional opposition, but rather to the moral stupor that comes over us when we are satiated with the comforts of this world.
And I’m saying that the dulling of our capacities to care about injustice is owing to the fear of man because so many of us fear that if we feel strongly or give expression to caring about some manifestation of injustice, somebody is going to put a theological or political label on us that’s going to feel misleading and offensive. And so, we will convince ourselves that indifference to injustice is a price worth paying to maintain our reputation.
But in fact, Christians care about all injustice because all justice is rooted in God.
  • “The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice.” (Deuteronomy 32:4)
  • “The King in his might loves justice.” (Psalm 99:4; see alsoPsalm 33:5)
  • “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!” (Revelation 15:3)
  • “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!” (Revelation 16:7)
  • “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory.” (Matthew 12:20)
If you don’t care about all injustice, you’re striving in your heart against God. And from the justice of our God and Savior flow his commands:
  • “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)
  • “By the help of your God . . . hold fast to love and justice, and wait continually for your God.” (Hosea 12:6)
  • “Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24)
  • “Woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God.” (Luke 11:42)
If we neglect justice, if we don’t care about all injustice everywhere that we see it, we’re not acting like Christians, because Christians care about all injustice, especially — especially — injustice against God.
And the word especially is intended to call out unbelief among Christians. It’s intended to call out the practical unbelief of Christians for whom the injustices against humans ignite more passion in their hearts, in their mouths, than the global tragedy of injustice against God. It aims to call out the practical unbelief of Christians who are so anesthetized by the comforts and entertainments of the world that they don’t care about injustice against man or God.
Injustice is to treat others worse than they deserve, and the more respect they deserve, and the less we render, the greater the injustice. God alone deserves the highest respect and praise and love and fear and devotion and allegiance and obedience of all beings in the universe. Yet every single human being in this room and on this planet has fallen short of this worship and have exchanged the glory of God for the creation. Therefore, every human is guilty of an injustice that is infinitely worse than all the injustices against man summed up totally throughout all history.

“God embraced injustice against himself to create a brokenhearted, bold people called Christians.”

God is infinitely deserving of complete worship, trust, and obedience. Therefore, in treating God as unworthy of our total allegiance, every human is guilty of an infinite injustice against God. That’s our biggest problem everywhere.
This injustice against God came to a climax in the very moment when God himself, in great mercy and without compromising his justice — in the very moment — when God came in human flesh to save us from the just penalty of our injustice against him. In that moment, our injustice rose to its heights.
Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter
and like a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he opens not his mouth.
In his humiliation justice was denied him. (Acts 8:32–33)
And as God embraced infinite injustice against himself and purchased a people who would prize him above all things, Christ crucified became the vindication of God’s justice and the forgiveness of our sins. He embraced injustice against himself to create a brokenhearted, bold people called Christians

How Do I Kill My Pride?

How do I kill the pride inside me? Pride is a nefarious enemy — one of our great enemies, and one of God’s ancient enemies. Yet when the Lord gifts someone with natural skills and abilities beyond the norm, that struggle with pride can become even more intense. As we begin a new week on Ask Pastor John, our next question arrives from a young woman who listens to the podcast.
“A pleasant good day to you, Pastor John! I am a law student from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent. I love the Lord with all my heart and desire to do many exploits for the kingdom of God. However, I have one big problem, and I think it is hindering my effectiveness as a disciple of Christ. I have a deep-rooted issue with pride. I know it is a sin, and I have tried many times to deal with this problem, but it always seems to hide and then resurface. I have been called condescending by my peers and family. I am verbally aggressive. What steps can I take daily to kill the sin of my expressive pride?”

Universal Struggle

I wish I knew you better. I don’t even know your name. I sure love your candor, and I think it’s a great work of grace that you can even see and identify those things about pride. You’re certainly not the only one. If I knew you better, I would try to tailor this response to your particular kind of pride, if I understood it better.

“Everybody deals with pride, but not everybody knows it because pride takes such subtle forms.”

Everybody deals with pride, but not everybody knows it because pride takes such subtle forms. But we all do. I wish I knew you better, but you have given me some clues, so let me make a stab at what might be helpful. I pray that God will use it to help you and others, because pride is universal.

How God Saved You

Let me commend this way of battling pride: a close look at the way God saved you — a close, repeated, regular attention to the way God saved you. He saved you in a way that no matter how you look at it, if you look at it biblically, it was designed to humble you and destroy your pride. That’s the way you were saved.
So what you need, and what all of us need, is not some teaching that comes later, like at a mature stage of Christianity. What you need is to know and to feel the implications of how God saved you. Millions of Christians do not know how God saved them. That might sound strange. You can be saved and not know how? That’s right.
Many people haven’t been taught accurately what the Bible says about what God did to save them, either in history or by the Spirit in their lives. Therefore, they have been deprived of the power of this truth to work deep humility and great boldness in their lives. Many Christians think that they themselves were the decisive cause of their own conversion to Christ. They’ve been taught that. They have been taught that God was merely a responder, not a sovereign Savior.

Hopeless Without Christ

Let’s look at reality. First, there’s the reality of sin that we have to be saved from. It’s more profound and more terrible than anyone realizes. And I mean anyone.

“Faith is what a child has or does when it is happy to be helpless and safe in Daddy’s arms.”

The entire Old Testament is written to show us the dreadful power of sin and the utter hopelessness of everyone, even the people of God. Without the omnipotence of God’s saving grace to convert them to Christ, they are hopeless. Here’sRomans 3:19: “Now we know that whatever the law says [I think he’s referring to the whole Old Testament, not just the first five books; you can read why in the context] it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God.”
We were utterly helpless to free ourselves from the blindness and the bondage of sin. We couldn’t see the glory of Christ. We could not bring ourselves to life from death (Romans 8:5–71 Corinthians 2:14;2 Corinthians 4:4).

Faith Kills Pride

God appointed faith as the only way of salvation. And the way of faith excludes pride. It does so in two ways: (1) Faith, by nature, looks away from ourselves to God. That’s what faith is — a looking away from ourselves to God. (2) Faith itself is a gift of God.
Here’s a text for the first way faith kills pride: “Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith” (Romans 3:27). Faith excludes boasting. You are not trusting God when you are boasting, and you are not boasting when you are trusting God.
Faith is what a child does when it is happy to be helpless and safe in Daddy’s arms. Let me say that again. Faith is what a child has or does when it is happy to be helpless and safe in Daddy’s arms. The child doesn’t boast in its self-sufficiency: “Oh, look how smart I am to be in Daddy’s arms.” Boast in Daddy. Look at his arms. Look at his smile.
On top of that, faith is a gift. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9). There’s a principle here that Paul expresses in 1 Corinthians 4:7: “What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?” God appointed faith as the way of salvation to doubly exclude boasting. Its nature is like a child calling attention to Daddy’s strength, not its own. And even that is a gift of God.

Consider Your Calling

Now why does God save us in this way, choosing to give faith to one person and not to another? Because it’s a gift. Some have it and some don’t. This is his election, God’s choosing. He gives it to one; he doesn’t give it to all. Why? Is it because he chooses us on the basis of some admirable quality so that we can boast in being chosen? No, he doesn’t.

“Pride is slain by election — free, sovereign, God-willed election, not man-determined election.”

This is probably the clearest text in the Bible about the relationship between election and humility, or election and the destruction of pride.
For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose [that’s the key word] what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. (1 Corinthians 1:26–29)
Pride is slain by election — free, sovereign, God-willed election, not man-determined election. God chose. God chose so that no human being might boast. Then Paul continues like this: “And because of him [i.e., because of God] you are in Christ Jesus.” You didn’t do that. You didn’t jump into Christ. You didn’t raise yourself from the dead. “You are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, ‘Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord’” (1 Corinthians 1:30–31).

Grace Alone

So the entire method of saving us is designed for this: negatively, that no human being might boast in the presence of the Lord; positively, so that the one who boasts would boast in the Lord. Let this sink in. Let us all pray that it would sink in.
We are saved in such a way that it makes God’s sovereign grace shine as glorious and makes us look utterly helpless in ourselves, utterly dependent on God. We were dead, blind, and helpless, which means that we were no more worthy of salvation than anyone else. You are like everybody that you will boast over — or worse than them — except for one thing: grace, grace, grace.
All self-exaltation is a re-crucifixion of Christ because he died to kill pride. Every boast, therefore, mocks the suffering of Jesus. And I end on this: every humble attitude, every humble act of faith, glorifies the grace of God in Christ.
